Dance Resource Center has created the LA Dance Emergency Fund
to help support the LA Dance Community during this public health emergency. You can keep LA dancing.
Your donations will fund emergency relief needed by LA dancers and dance companies due to
performances and gigs cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
– With theaters closed, companies’ performances have been cancelled, tickets are being refunded.
– There is no box office income to pay the companies or full presenters fees to be paid.
– Many dancers work as teachers, Pilates and yoga instructors – these activities also have been cancelled.
– Video shoots, concerts, and other shows using dancers and choreographers have been shut down.
– Free performances have been cancelled.
– Festivals have been cancelled or postponed
The more we raise, the more we can help! No amount is too small.
