The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking applicants for the position of Dance Production Coordinator for the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.
In Fall 2015, USC Kaufman opened its doors to its first cohort of students pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Working in multiple on and off-campus venues and in cooperation with staff, faculty, and students, the Dance Production Coordinator will oversee the operation and implementation of the production season and performance venues. He/she will coordinate all production-related logistics, activities, and requirements of the USC Kaufman School of Dance. He/she will play a critical role in realizing productions within the newly constructed Glorya Kaufman International Dance Center (opening in Spring 2016). Initially reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Production Coordinator will be a member of the administrative staff and will work closely with the School’s faculty and staff. Successful candidates will ultimately be conversant with the artistic and technical aspects of dance. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, faculty members, staff members, and vendors is required. This is a new position and an exciting opportunity to participate in building a new world-class dance program.
