Application Deadline: Postmarked by July 15, 2016
The Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) promotes ways for cultural traditions to thrive now and into the future by offering advocacy, resources, and connections for folk and traditional artists. ACTA’s Living Cultures Grants Program strengthens the folk and traditional arts in the state of California by providing grants of up to $5,000 to California-based nonprofit organizations or organizations who apply through a California-based fiscal sponsor. ACTA also offers the Apprenticeship Program, which provides contracts of $3,000 to master artists, so that they may offer intensive training to qualified apprentices. Applications for both Programs must be postmarked by July 15, 2016.
