The Board of Directors of the Dance Resource Center announced yesterday that after three years with the organization, Executive Director Shayna Keller will be departing at the end of June to pursue her MBA at Yale University’s School of Management.
Under her leadership, the DRC has witnessed a resurgence of support from community stakeholders, substantial budget increases, and expanded partnerships with funders and arts service agencies, both locally and nationally.
"The past three years of work with DRC have been deeply rewarding and transformative. I am grateful to our Board, staff, members, supporters, and the broader arts community for inspiring and challenging me every day. Our organization’s mission to support and sustain dance in Southern California will always remain close to my heart and I look forward to witnessing our community’s future successes,” said Ms. Keller.
Board President Albertossy Espinoza said, “Working with Shayna has been a true gift. During her term, Shayna has helped the DRC achieve many milestones in establishing a new direction, strategy, and programs to serve our community. She has worked to strengthen the Board of Directors and ensure a bright future for the organization. We are grateful for her hard work and accomplishments, wish her all the best on her new endeavors, and congratulate her on her acceptance to Yale University’s School of Management.”
Ms. Keller and DRC’s Board are together searching for the organization’s next Executive Director.
